We all have heard the experts tell us the importance of stretching prior to and after our exercise routine. Stretching before we exercise allows our muscles to loosen up and become resistant to the strain they are about to endure, thereby reducing the chance of injury.
When you stretch your muscles after a workout, you’re helping your body to recover from the strain, while also releasing stress and tension in your muscles and joints, aiding your flexibility.

Just as it is important to stretch our physical bodies, it is equally important to stretch our minds. Stretch your mind to think possible things you always considered impossible. Stretch your mind to create a life you always dreamed of.
Spend some time thinking about what you would like to accomplish in your life.
- Where would you like to go?
- What would you like to do for work?
- Where would you like to live?
- What skill would you like to develop?
- What would you like to be able to afford to buy?
Create a collage of your desires:
- Go through magazines or the internet and find images and text representative of these things you want in your life.
- Cut or print them out and paste them onto a poster board or newsprint.
- Put this collage in a place where you will see it every day.
When you look at these things that are your dreams, picture yourself as having attained them. Picture yourself driving that expensive car. YOU are vacationing in that condo you own in the Caribbean. YOU are directing or starring in that box-office hit. YOU are at a book signing for your first novel. YOU are crossing the finish line of your first marathon.
It is by this imagery and positive thinking that these good things will come into your life. The universe has so much to offer each of us; all we need to do is ask. Be open to the possibilities and you will be surprised by the outcome.
Whether you think you can, or think you cannot, you are right.
As important as it is to stretch our physical body every day to maintain flexibility and reduce injury, it is equally important to stretch our mind into believing the possibility of things we always thought impossible.

Thank you, ME.. I’m so glad you’re doing it!
