Heart, Head, Body, and Soul

A person who is seeking self-actualization, is someone who tries to focus on their heart, head, body and soul. Integrating and growing these four areas, our emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual selves is a goal for many people.

To develop our heart, or emotional selves, we need to develop our ability to work with other people.  We need to become positive and connect with other people to build lasting relationships.  It is important to identify with all people, even those people who are different than ourselves.

A well-developed mind or intellectual self, is important to have control over the things that will affect our thinking.  We need to be organized in our daily tasks to attain our goals and keep focused.

Our physical health is extremely important and intertwined to the other three areas we need to develop.  Exercise and healthy eating are crucial to feel strong and in control of our lives. Taking care of our physical bodies will help us have the strength to overcome the demands of these trying times.
